Hotel Quarantine

During the quarantine for all Jordanians arriving in Amman, Khalid was flying back after traveling for 3 months. Passengers were informed mid flight that a mandatory quarantine was in effect. This governmental decision took authorities, residents and hotels by surprise as they all scrambled to adapt.

The following texts shared between Hamza and Khalid give brief snapshots of what unfolded between March 15th — 30th, 2020. These were moments of sudden realizations — that not only is this pandemic real, but also the need to have someone there for you during times of transition.
